Ametherm Announces ISO 9001:2008 Recertification
CARSON CITY, Nev. — May 27, 2015 — Ametherm today announced that its Carson City, Nevada, facilities have received ISO 9001:2008 recertification. The company’s facilities have been ISO 9001-certified since August 2007.
ISO 9001:2008, the most recent version of the certification standard, is internationally recognized for promoting a process approach to improving the effectiveness of a quality management system, enhancing customer satisfaction, and meeting customer requirements. Certification indicates independent verification that Ametherm meets the requirements of the standard. The assessments look at the process that a company uses to ensure quality and continuous improvement.
The Ametherm certificate (#C0098077-IS4) was issued by NSF International Strategic Registrations (NSF-IR), a global leader in management systems registrations. NSF-IR granted the registration upon Ametherm’s successful completion of a series of quality system assessments applying the plan-do-check-act, or PDCA, cycle approach. Ametherm is certified for the development and manufacture of NTC and PTC thermistors for automotive, medical, green energy, consumer, and industrial applications.
