Ametherm Acquires SURGE-GARD™ Inrush Current Limiter Products from Measurement Specialties

RTI Electronics CARSON CITY, Nev. — Oct. 08, 2013-Ametherm today announced that it has acquired the SURGE-GARD™ inrush current limiter product line, formerly manufactured by RTI Electronics, from Measurement Specialties Inc. (NASDAQ: MEAS), a global designer and manufacturer of sensors and sensor-based systems. The acquisition will also include certain NTC thermistor products.
